H 0 Sexual Conduct : The social sources of human sexuality.
Traditional views of human sexuality posit models of man and woman in which biological arrangements are translated into sociocultural imperatives : 'Anatomy is destiny'. Consequently there exists an almost exclusive concern with the power of biology and nature in sexual conduct as opposed to an understanding of the determining capacities of social life.(...) Using the social script theory, the authors trace the ways in which sexuality is learned and the ways in which it is fitted into a particular moments in the life cycle and in different modes of behavior.
